Ice and Lightning Sword, while not exactly tank abilities, set the flavor of a magical frontliner and can inflict Freeze and Paralysis. Life Oath increases their current and maximum LF, which can push the total ahead of their allies to make them a more attractive target. They already take the least damage from enemy attacks, so their healing skill, Knight's Grace, provides all the healing they need for themselves, and sustains their companions in the fight. When Rune-Knights are unlocked, they start off with all the basics of effective tanks. They have unmatched DEF and MDF and above average LF, and skills that improve their allies' survival as well as their own, so they are the best tanks. Each one will offer the same sort of suggestive situation and script at the end of their date. I’m specifically thinking of Eigur, Sailas, Brijilt, and Yoritomo when I write this. Based on interactions throughout the story, it seems like some people should be off the table. There are certain characters with whom pursuing a relationship should be a total conflict of interest. I did find some of the romances a bit strange. Once you’ve been on a certain number of dates, you’ll spend some time “alone” with one of NPCs. And when I say intimate, I mean intimate. As you advance through the story and build up the pub, you’ll get the opportunity to invite more people for a private moment and enjoy more intimate encounters. At first, you’re limited in what can happen during these dates. Once you build the Skylounge, players will be able to start meeting with various party members and people from Nodens in this bar. Yet, they’re still able to find love with many of the game’s most important characters. Our characters have no default names and personalities. It’s about going through dungeons, defeating dragons, and occasionally completing a supplemental quest on the side.
